Cheryl Lockhart BSc (hons) MCSP
I qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2006. Since then I have amassed a wide range of skills and experience in the NHS, private and charity sectors.
My experience includes Musculoskeletal Out-Patients, Neurological rehabilitation of both adults and children, Orthopaedics, Learning Disabilities and Rehabilitation of the Older Person, previously known as Geriatric Rehabilitation.
I also have personal experience of living with a long term health condition having contracted a water-borne infection whilst living in Brazil in 2015. Subsequently, I am able to fully empathise with anyone suffering from chronic pain, fatigue and symptoms that aren’t easily diagnosed by the traditional medical model. As such I have also developed a keen interest in ‘lifestyle medicine’ which encompasses nutrition and emotional wellbeing; and can personally attest to the important role they play in overall health. The above all supporting my belief and personal experience that a holistic approach to health is crucial in achieving optimal health outcomes for anyone and everyone.
