Services

  • A healthcare professional, likely a chiropractor or physical therapist, examines a patient's leg, which is extended upward, in a clinical setting with anatomical charts on the wall.

    Musculoskeletal & Orthopaedic Physio

Common complaints such as knee, shoulder, back and neck pain can benefit from expert assessment and directed treatments. Additionally we can assess and empower you to manage hypermobility spectrum disorder, fibromyalgia and chronic pain. We can also see you for post-op joint replacement rehabilitation

  • A woman, dressed in a dark shirt with a patch on the sleeve, is talking to a girl with blonde hair, in a black tank top. They are indoors, with a medical chart hanging on the wall in the background.

    Pain Reprocessing Therapy

An evidence based approach to managing chronic or persistent neuroplastic symptoms. This approach addresses multiple factors that are known to affect symptoms - including health beliefs, stress, sleep & lifestyle factors

  • An elderly man with white hair and a white beard smiling as he holds hands with a young girl. The man is using a cane and wears a dark sweater and white shirt. The girl's arm, wearing a striped shirt, is visible.

    Older People Rehabilitation

Old age brings many challenges including problems with falls, balance, reduced strength, mobility and ability to participate in every day activities. Research shows that regular strength training and specialist advice regarding falls prevention and home adjustments can make a significant improvement to quality of life and functional ability

  • A caregiver helping an elderly man walk with a walker inside a home, smiling at each other.

    Home visits

Sometimes treatment can be more beneficial at home, especially if getting out & about is a challenge. In this scenario Cheryl can visit you at your home anywhere within a 15 minute drive of The Well Health Centre & normally once you have had an initial assessment at The Well first

  • Massage therapist performing a massage on a person's back in a therapy room.

    Deep Tissue massage

Often incorporated into treatment or can be a stand alone session to address muscle tightness and myofascial trigger points (muscle knots). This treatment provides deep release and relief from muscle pain

  • Close-up of a wheelchair parked on a paved path outdoors with greenery in the background.

    Neurological Rehabilitation

From recovering from a Stroke or Acquired Brain injury to coming to terms with Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease & a spectrum of various neurological conditions, Physiotherapy can make a marked difference to your quality of life through improvements in movement, strength, flexibility and balance

Cheryl’s holistic approach to physiotherapy and healing means she is incredibly thorough, patient and understanding. Her diagnosis and then selection of exercises made a marked improvement within a week. Plus her follow up support was second to none
